9 nights in Italy and 5 places visited. This was my first visit to Italy and I definitely was able to fit so much into my stay.
My deal included:
- Return flights
- Accommodation (3 nights in Rome, 3 nights in Florence and 3 nights in Venice)
- Trains from city to city
All for £500! An absolute bargain for 9 nights.
I love booking through these sites as their customer service is great. As soon as you send an enquiry form about the package you would like to book they email you back in no time at all. They spend so much time ringing you and making sure the package deal is everything that you want it to be, at the best prices. They are there every step of the booking process and anytime after if you have any enquiries. I would highly recommend booking through Holiday Pirates and Crystal Travel.
My itinerary for 9 nights in Italy consisted of:
- Rome (3 nights)
- Florence (3 nights)
- Pisa (Half a day)
- Venice (3 nights)
- Verona (1 day)
While I was in Florence I took a trip to Pisa to see the iconic Leaning Tower of Pisa for 4 hours, as this was all I wanted to see while in Pisa. While in Venice I spent a day in Verona and I have got to say Verona is definitely worth a visit, I would definitely love to go back and stay longer than a day.
I tried to fit Pompeii in my travel itinerary while I was in Rome, but as there is so much to see in Rome I decided against Pompeii (this means an excuse to take another trip to Italy)
I definitely enjoyed my Italy trip and would recommend a 9 night trip to fit a lot of sites in. My following blog posts will be for each of the places I visited while I was away.
